Mr. Earl Peavy, pictured above, goes through old photographs from his military service as a Navy Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He served 10 ½ months in the Vietnam War in the Reconnaissance Attack Squadron Thirteen, a fleet combat squadron.

A Citizen Soldier at Heart
As a young boy living in Trout, Earl Peavy often found himself gazing upward at the open skies and imagining himself soaring freely in the clouds above the fields and pastures of his family’s home. He, along with his brother Jerry, enjoyed taking care of the family’s livestock, duck hunting, and other outdoor adventures so the horizon was always in view with blue skies beckoning.
