Five indicted on Federal Charges from 2024 event at Catahoula Parish Correctional Center
A federal grand jury in Shreveport returned a 34-count indictment against five former employees of the Catahoula Parish Correctional Center (CPCC) and the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) last week, from a February 2024 event at the prison where the use of an electrified riot shield was used to shock and crush 13 handcuffed, non-resisting prisoners.
