Hot, Humid, and Sweltering
It’s the middle of May, and I am sweating. Despite the occasional lovely breeze and the persnickety moods of recent weather, humidity has arrived in force, and for this outdoors girl, I’m already sweating bullets. Forgive my use of such a vulgar term (sweat), but this gumbo of humidity and heat is causing my hair to frizz, my face to turn red, and my clothing to become drenched within 3 minutes of exerting any level of energy in the great outdoors. It has already surpassed the genteel term ‘perspiring’. Therefore, I must whine for a while.
