For as long as anyone can remember, the 15-mile drive between Jena and Olla told the whole story. Two towns. Two schools. Two football teams. And a rivalry so deeply embedded in the culture of LaSalle Parish that some traced its roots all the way back to 1910, when the parish was first established and Jena was named the parish seat.
