The LaSalle Parish Police Jury fielded extensive public questions Aug. 10 about a proposed one cent sales tax that will appear on the Dec. 12 election ballot, with residents pressing jurors on how the money would be spent and jurors making the case that the parish’s road system cannot be maintained without new revenue.
