Diversion Levee Road to Close

The Tensas Basin Levee District will close a stretch of Diversion Canal Road to through traffic starting April 1, 2027, a decision district officials say was forced by a state attorney general’s opinion warning that continued upkeep of the road threatens the levee system it sits on.
