When we think about a school year, we remember the big moments. The first day of school, of junior high, and of high school. Homecoming. Ball games. Awards days. Graduation. Those moments make great memories, and they deserve to be celebrated. But when I think about what makes a great school and school system, I believe the moments that matter most are often the ones nobody takes a picture of.
