Twenty days from today, voters in Louisiana begin casting ballots in one of the most consequential election cycles this community has seen in years. Early voting for the November 3 election opens October 20, and between now and then, every eligible voter in this area has a decision to make — not just about who to vote for, but whether to show up at all.
