Spirit Reins Fall Fundraiser a Success

Saturday, September 16th was a beautiful day to be in Harrisonburg! Spirit Reins hosted its annual fall fundraiser for its mission, including the 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast and the 3rd annual co-ed incrediball softball tournament.

We would like to thank each and every person who volunteered and worked tirelessly to make the day a success! We are beyond grateful for each sponsor and person who registered for our race, pancake breakfast, softball tournament, as well as for those who participated in the Silent Auction or made a donation. We are thankful for each vendor who came out to be a part of our fundraiser. The talented and nationally recognized Glory Bound Cloggers provided amazing entertainment after the race. We would like to give a very special thank you to the Harrisonburg Service League for always providing a delicious, homemade pancake breakfast for our event, to Jason Montpelier and Justin Holloway for cooking the pancakes and sausage, and to Ford’s Food Center for donating food and drinks for the pancake breakfast. We are incredibly grateful for Will and Morgan Woods – Woods Tire and Ken and Mary King – Kings Fish Market for providing delicious choices for lunch for all who came for our event and for donating the proceeds to Spirit Reins. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community and are truly grateful for the support we received to allow us to continue our mission of providing this valuable service to children with disabilities in our community and the surrounding areas.
