Donald “Larry” Hines, 62, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

He was born February 1, 1961.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Prince and Coy McGuffee officiating.

Interment followed in the Chapman Cemetery, Trout, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayward and Gladys Hines.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Theresa; daughters, Kayla Paul (Justin) and Kelly Crooks (Lester); brother, Roy Eugene Hebron (Ginger); sisters, Franky Trisler of Jonesville, Linda Parker of Columbus, MS, Evelyn Thacker of Elmer, LA and Hilda Breland of Jena; grandchildren, Carley Miller (Dalton), Cydnee Smith, Charlie Allen Paul, Cason Crooks and Whitlee Crooks; great grandchild, Stetson Smith; and three best friends, Rolland Hollins, Howard Hardie and Clint Bearden.

Pallbearers were Dusty Knapp, Tony “Scooter” Knapp, Chris Breland, Clay Breland, Chad Breland and Lance Breland.

Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Allen Paul and Cason Crooks.
