Ginger Gale Taylor, 84, passed from this life on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at her residence in Olla.

She was born May 14, 1939 in Kelly, LA.

Ginger was a peaceful person. She lived and worked in California until she retired and moved back home. Ginger turned into a homebody. She enjoyed canning vegetables from their garden, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, and chatting with her sisters on the phone.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in the Olla Cemetery with Bro. Brian Rankin officiating, under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Hansford Taylor; and her brother, Jack Gough.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sisters: Ann Rankin and Nancy Lansdale (David); and a host of nieces and nephews.
