Softball Playoffs Begin

The LaSalle Lady Tigers and the Jena Lady Giants will begin their 2024 LHSAA Softball Playoff run next week, as both teams drew byes for the first round set for this weekend.

The Lady Tigers, ranked #4 in Division IV Non-Select, will host the winner of the DeQuincy #13 and Basile #20 game set to be played by Saturday, April 13. Regardless of who wins that matchup, they must travel to Olla to face the Lady Tigers in the regional round to be played by Wednesday, April 17. The game will likely be held Monday or Tuesday afternoon.

The Jena Lady Giants, ranked #5 in Division III Non-Select, will host the winner of Mamou #12 and Berwick #21 game set to be played by Saturday, April 13.

No matter who wins that game, they must travel to Jena to face the Lady Giants in the regional round to be played by Wednesday, April 17. The game will likely be held Monday or Tuesday afternoon.
