Loving Jesus: A Southern Bond
For those who do not know, I feel compelled to share a historically and culturally correct tidbit with you: most Southerners love Jesus. It is a common bond that hardens and holds us together like the gum off a sweetgum tree. Once it dries, it’s there to stay through thick or thin, ugly heat or bitter winter cold. Whether black or white, Asian or otherwise, Baptist, Pentecostal, or Methodist, sinner or saint, our cores cut the same: Jesus is King. We share our solid founded belief that He makes everything better and you best not mess with our faith.
