Everyone in this country is well aware of the constantly increasing prices of practically everything caused mostly by inflation. The usual earmarks used to determine these rates are not the true cost of inflation. It is not even close. The government loves to use the price of eggs, chicken, milk, interest rates and ground meat to determine the inflation rate. Lower rates make politicians look better.
